What sort of artist would I be if I didnt let music influence at lease SOME of my work?

I honestly love this song and wanted to do a piece that was connected to it, but without the cliche and literal "arrow in the throat" thing. I still wanted it to tie rather obviously with the song so in the full image (this is cropped awkwardly since the scanner is much too small) she has the apple, the arrow motif on her blouse, a silver leaf charm(not visible), and baby's breath will be added in the background.

I've had some friends ask what sort of style will i be using for Caged (my style does fluctuate alot when i doodle) and I've decided on a new favorite, the High Contrast style I LOVE IT. Its alot of fun, actually pretty quick, and i feel it fits Caged rather well in its own 'Mature Grunge' sort of way. expect to see more of this style >D
